Azbuka implements Retano SCM for replenishment planning

Azbuka, one of the leading grocery retailers in Kyrgyzstan operating supermarkets and convenience stores, has launched the implementation of the SaaS-based Retano SCM platform to support centralized supply chain management.

Retano SCM is a cloud-native system that uses historical sales and inventory data to support demand forecasting and replenishment decisions. Forecast accuracy improves over time as the system processes new data, while operational effects typically become visible from the first planning cycles after go-live. A standard implementation project usually takes around three months.

The platform automates the core replenishment process, including daily demand calculation and order generation for stores, distribution centers, and in-store production. Orders are calculated overnight and prepared for supplier submission at the start of the business day. The system takes into account delivery calendars, lead times, weekends, and holidays, adjusting order quantities automatically and flagging exceptions for review when needed.

Retano SCM includes an AI-based decision-support assistant that helps teams analyze daily order results. It highlights atypical situations, prioritizes potential issues based on their expected financial impact, and supports focused operational review. This enables Azbuka’s supply chain and purchasing teams to concentrate on critical products, suppliers, and locations while maintaining target service levels.

By implementing Retano SCM, Azbuka aims to improve product availability, reduce out-of-stocks and waste, optimize inventory levels, and build a scalable supply chain foundation to support further network development.
